DIGITAL PROCESSING

The Digital Reproduction and Processing Service (SRTD) is responsible for the digital reproduction and processing of images (still and moving) from the Centre's fonds and collections, in both the heritage and contemporary creation spheres, with the dual aim of conserving and disseminating them.

The SRTD now has two high resolution scanners for slides, a reflex camera and two medium-format cameras in order to achieve higher quality images and improved workflow.

Functions

- Digitisation and optimisation of still and moving images:

• * Planning and monitoring of digitisations
• * Management of server files
• * File migration

- Technical support for town and city councils in the Girona province and other cultural facilities.
