Ferrer Culubret - Morros Sardá Fonds

The collection comprises a set of photos taken by three photographers with a family connection. On the one hand, there are snapshots of the married couple, the educator and playwright Salvador Ferrer Culubret (Salt, 1902 - Girona, 1985) and the educator and doctor of natural sciences Julia Morros Sardá (León, 1902 - Madrid, 1983), illustrating their family gatherings at Morros' parents' house in León, as well as some of their visits to the Basque Country, Navarre and Catalonia just before the outbreak of the Civil War.

On the other hand, there is a stereoscopic landscape report on various towns in the province of León and the Cantabrian coast by Morros' father, Juan Morros García (León, 1867-1936), a university lecturer and the director of the Escuela de Veterinaria in León from 1908 to 1936.
